Lion for the birthday boy

Hi everyone I hope you all had a great Christmas!! I am excited to share a little doll I crocheted for my sons first birthday.
I always make a doll for my kids for their first birthday.  I made the lion mint green to go along with his mint party theme and I love how he turned out!  I especially love the felt heart. :)

Now did you make it up or did you use a pattern?
So adorable I have so many unfinished crocheted toys want to come to my house and help me?

Thanks everyone.
D-lyn I made up the pattern, it is super easy. If I hurry and write it down before I forget I could post the pattern here on my blog.
