I am only a mum to my pup, and mother's day here in the uk was in march. Your cake looks wonderful and I hope you have had a day filled with love, mum's do such a hard and sometimes difficult job, they deserve a day to be pampered :)

I'm not quite sure of the ages of your kids, just that they are young? Do enjoy every lovely, maddening, "I so am going to sell you to the gypsies" moment, as they are fleeting. Before you know it? They are grown and they are magnificent and they FINALLY treat you with the respect you deserve! You know, that of the Queen of England!
Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead without my tiara... ;-)

L bought me an 8 foot windmill. It doesn't do anything useful and isn't decorative-or beautiful but I guess I should be grateful....
I wish I had the receipt so I could take it back! Sigh....
