Gift of Love, papier mache sculpure

Gift of Love, papier mache sculpure

Here is the newest addition to my papier mache collection. She is currently up in my shoppe , so take a peek. I sold the other sculpture so fast I'm almost sad to see her go. But I think I love this girl the most! I am really having fun making these girls. I am for sure going to make more in the future. I already have three in the works right now. After seeing Jenn's pretty doll made from Polymer clay I am thinking of playing around with that too. I may do it with papier mache though. I don't know for sure. ENJOY!

On the front page of Etsy!

Yes "A Garland of Hearts" was up on the front page of Etsy Monday sometime before 7pm. (Thats when when I got on.) I never got to see it actually on the front page though. I'm excited because the piece sold that same day as well! P.S. Thanks so much Cris for letting me know about it. And thanks Mer for the screen shot.

Surprise Shop update and digital works debut

Hello Everyone, I thought it would be fun to surprise you all with an update to my little shop! And Let you know that it features two of my brand new digital art prints.

"Thinking" digital art print

I have more in the works and will continually make more! The thing is, for Christmas this last year my husband received a scanner. I started to play around with it and created these pretty images. I fell in love with digitally coloring my sketches. I'm very excited and hope you enjoy them!

the season for hearts in my home..and a sneak peek!

I had taken my Christmas tree down and felt like my house was naked. So I went out into the snow to grab a twig and hang my valentines hearts! Photos of our marshmallow world will be up shortly. My 3 year old daughter saw me decorating and decided to do it too, here is what she did.
she very carefully placed a dried rose into a vase. Then she put all the left over twigs that fell when I was trimming into a bottle and put paper chain all over it.
She was very proud of what she had done.
Pssssst! here is a bad photo giving you a sneak peek at my newest painting!
