New papier mache witch

Soon to be up in the shop, unless I can't live without her. ;) And that is very likely since she, in my opinion, is the best one I've done yet. EDIT: she's SOLD but keep checking back at the shop for more to come! :)

Marie Digby

I was browsing around on you tube just now and clicked this video. Right then I fell in love with her music! Does anyone know anything about how she became famous? It looks like her you tube channel has been around for a while. Is that what got her music out there? If so thats really neat.

EDIT: I looked her up on wikipedia she has a really neat story------

Marié Christina Digby (pronounced /mæɹi'eɪ 'dɪgbi/ Ma-ree-AY Dig-Bee) (born April 16, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. She is best known for her acoustic cover version of Rihanna's No. 1 hit "Umbrella", which attracted attention on YouTube in 2007. The song was subsequently played on the radio station STAR 98.7, was featured on the third season opening episode of the MTV show The Hills,[1] and peaked at #10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. Marie performed the song on the late night talk show Last Call with Carson Daly on August 2, 2007.

Marie's first official single, "Say It Again", was released to radio stations on January 18, 2008. Her debut album, Unfold, was released on April 8, 2008.

Spooky September

Halloween is my favorite holiday next to Christmas. And I firmly believe that the decorations for both holidays deserve to be given a good two month's of celebration time. Therefore September, in my house, is very spooky indeed!
(p.s. Sorry for the blurry images! I was in a hurry when I took these.)
