I do say so myself. I put her up on my etsy today. For my birthday Trent got me some Gouache paints and I am having a BALL!! You will be seeing the portrait I'm working on when it gets done!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I love my presents from my awesome sisters too : )

Hello and good morning! I'm here with more cuddly creatures. The monster didn't turn out as

perfect as I had planed. I'm thinking of re-doing the seams. They're a bit uneven. The vintage blue alien is so sweet I love how he turned out. I figured out how to applique his eyes so he can be a baby toy (no buttons you see.) My stationary tests are alright. Since they're ink they bleed if even a little drop of dew gets on it so I'm going to have to take these to the printers. Also, I think they're too big half the size would be better I just wanted to post them any way.

I'm in love with my latest little dolly and two little bugs! more are on their way, like a yellow vintage calico monster, and a blue vintage polka dot alien!!! The sad news is that I have lost all of my embroidery needle's today, and cannot finish any of my latest projects. I'll have to watch where I sit in the craft room from now on! OUCH ;)

Well we're back from our bi-annual trip to Colorado. We have been back for a whole week now. Sad times I know! Colorado is our true HOME. The fun days of playing Dread Pirates and swimming all day are in the past. boo hoo. I actually made Trent the Dread Pirate game for Fathers Day. These are pictures of the different jewels I got and the map we painted together. We actually needed an entire deck of cards to play the game so I'll have to figure out how I can make some of our own. Another thing I miss is crafting and chatting and window shopping with my mom and sisters. I'm missing them so much. So instead of getting really depressed and wishing away my days I'm taking action by becoming totally obsessed with sewing dolly's and creatures for my Etsy shop. That way I have no time to think of sadness. I am really enjoying myself. Here is a cool thing, my kids are enjoying my sewing as well only sometimes does my son sit at my feet and whine for me to stop, and almost never does my daughter sit on the craft table and change my stitch from strait to zig-zag. And!!!! here is the best of all! She stayed dry in panties all last night and this morning! (except the part when she was sleeping, then she wore a diaper.) all in all I'm doing really great!

Here are sone critters I made today. I am having a lot of fun making cute little creatures these days. The sweetness of the pink alien is out of controll. heres the saddest part.....I forgot to save them without the watermark, so I have to redo them to get them without words. Sadness!
