Lion for the birthday boy

Hi everyone I hope you all had a great Christmas!! I am excited to share a little doll I crocheted for my sons first birthday.
I always make a doll for my kids for their first birthday.  I made the lion mint green to go along with his mint party theme and I love how he turned out!  I especially love the felt heart. :)

You are so clever. Happy Birthday to your baby. I bet he had a blast!!! Mike and Might be back up that way soon, Mike is looking at jobs up there. It would be fun to get together again.

Now did you make it up or did you use a pattern?
So adorable I have so many unfinished crocheted toys want to come to my house and help me?

Thanks everyone.
D-lyn I made up the pattern, it is super easy. If I hurry and write it down before I forget I could post the pattern here on my blog.
