We have been debating on what color to paint our house this spring. I thought it would be good to ask you all for your input, so I put together this collage to visualize all the colors. Please comment and let me know witch one is your favorite and why! ( By the way #1 is the original color.)

I say #5 is my favorite
I was going to say 1 and 5. Since it's already 1, I'm going with 5. :)
I like 19, 8, and 2 (or 3), in that order. :)
They're all nice color combinations but you should think about whether you want your house to stand out a bit more (since it's on sort of a busy corner) or blend in so that all the landscaping you've done can be the star.
You'll also maybe want to consider how it'll look next to that horrible pink on your neighbor's house...
But it's really cool that you took the time to photoshop all those color combos onto your house -- probably save yourself a lot of trouble later. Good idea! Love you!! :)
I vote for #12!!
I like number 14. Keep the siding the same color, and just update the trim. Play around on photoshop with just changing the trim/shutters/window boxes/banister.
Number 12 would be my next favorite. The mustard with white accents and a green door is really striking. It still seems just neutral enough that someone wouldn't skip your house because of the paint color.
I looked at it some more. If you want to add color, I love #19! It's cape cod analogous and stays on the same side of the color wheel as the greens and lavender in your landscaping, and opposite the orange in the rocks out front.
However, I think your siding is a nice color-14, 17, 18 show great colors for updating the trim, which would be more affordable. It would also make it easier to sell your house with a neutral palate that appeals to more people. What fun options! Obviously I can't decide
Ooh! I love either 5 or 7! I'd <333 to live in a little red house.
5 and 8 are my favorites
4, 5, and 7 are absolutey my fav's!!! 7 popped out at me the most though. I have a red house, we painted it from an icky brown to a gorgeous red about 7 years ago and I adore it! My family and friends mostly did not approve, I must say. I came home more than once to find a Bob Evans bag hanging on my front door (My dad says my house looks like Bob Evans now) and one friend when asked about the new paint color stared into her dinner plate and mumbled something about if you can't say anything nice then you shouldn't say anything at all and that's all she said. The neighbors don't seem to hate it and that's a plus. I have zero regrets painting my house red!! It cheers me every single time I pull into the driveaway. Mine has cream colored trim and a dark roof. Goodluck! P.S. found your blog way of Craft Crow and I am so glad I did!!! Wonderful fun things here....I'll be a regular....
I vote for #19! I like it a lot, it looks very scandinavian!
I like what you've done but none of these combo's take into consideration the red roof. I would paint your house gray-green shade and match the shutters to the roof.
Don't paint it at all it has vinynle siding and most paint won't stick!
Painting vinyl siding is challenging for several reasons. Vinyl siding has a very high expansion/contraction coefficient. This simply means that it expands and contracts significantly as it experiences periods of exposure to sunlight and then periods of shade or darkness. This movement of the siding caused traditional exterior paints to fail in short order as the bond between the paint and the siding was severed by this constant back and forth movement.
Vinyl siding also soaks up heat to a great degree. If it gets too hot, it can buckle and distort. This is why many vinyl products are offered in lighter colors. Because of this fact, you can actually damage your vinyl siding if you paint it a color that is too dark. The paint manufacturers highly recommend that you paint the vinyl siding a color that is no darker than the current shade of your vinyl siding! You must use the right paint to achieve victory. The ones that seem to work best with vinyl siding are ones that have a blend of urethane and acrylic resins. Water based urethanes mixed with high grade acrylic resins produce a user-friendly paint that has extraordinary adhesive qualities. This is exactly what one needs to combat the daily movement of the vinyl siding.
I wouldn't change the the color any how I love the colors already.
wow! I can't choice between 7 and 8.
8 is really nice with the vegetation all around but 7 is so colorful!!!
I like both! ^_^
I choose 5 or 6!
