whoever will she be?

Snippets are so fun to share! Here is my latest papier mache girl still in "skeleton" form. What a lovely mushroom she is sitting upon! I'll be posting her in her finished state in time. But for now, I must enjoy this pretty weather. Yesterday was yet another snowy day, those seem to be happening every week as of late.

Bluefly

Hi, I Just wanted to share this look I put together with some pretty clothes I liked from Bluefly.
It was a lot of fun "window shopping" on their website.
edit: This look would look so great with a pair of blue jeans to make it a little more casual.

What's your opinion?

First of all, I have to say that I love the make up the top three girls are wearing! And second, I love the simple one bobby pin look. But I am torn because I have been planning ("for like ever", he he) to get my bangs cut. What is your opinion? Because, apparently "bangs are the new botox."

Are bangs a must?
Or is the bobby pin look for you?

And, any advice you have on what I should do with my hair would be nice too. P.S. here is a recent photo of what my hair is doing these days. (That profile photo is three years old! I know thats cheating, he he! And please disregard the weird expression on my face and the no make up look.) The last time I had my hair cut was more than 20 months ago. This "do" is just a grown out a-line bob, AACK it time for something new! Or is it? Have a great Thursday/May Day! :)

I thought I'd share some illustrations by Warwick Goble, I love his landscape backgrounds they have such a great illustrative style to them but a lot of realism too. Parisian fashion plates

Wandering around the internet this morning was really fun because I happened uppon these beautiful Parisian fashion plates. The owner politely asked that no one uses the images so I used an image from this source instead. But please follow the link they are very pretty images.

Ta da! One of these little pretties is still up in the Little Lola's shoppe right now so take a peek. P.S. what do you think of the outdoor photos? I was trying something new. Are they as as good, or not as good, as the white backgrounds of the other girls? I already listed these photos so it's a tad too late to ask opinions but, for next time, I thought I'd see what you all thought. have a great day!

Snippet

A long hot bath and a good book can cure anything. Nap time & a movie for the non napper are very helpful too. So, on a lighter note than the last post I thought I'd share a snippet of what is to come. Two pretty girls that need a final coat of sealer and a final photo shoot before they can have a full Little Lola's shoppe debut. I just hope the sun shows its bright warm face tomorrow, at least for a half an hour, so I can get good lighting for the photos. It has been snowing, hailing, raining, and "snowraining" he he, all day today! Silly spring!
