Two great Movies!!

Thought I'd share my two favorite movies with you!

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

This movie is so magical, I loved every second of it! Mr Magorium is adorable and the story is really neat. I even cried. It sounds weird but it really spoke to my inner child, and that was emotional for me I guess. (It's really not a very sad movie.) It's a must see for everyone!

As a surprise my Sister and my Dad come to visit all the way from CO last week. While they were here we went to see this movie, and I absolutely loved it! The story is so very sweet and the vintage clothes she wears are quite adorable! You really should check it out!

The hunt

I thought it would be fun to share some Easter photos with all of you.

In my head I had planned an ornately hand made original table setting and a gourmet meal for Easter. You know, sugar cookies frosted with home made frosting, place settings with name tags and a perfect centerpiece. easter baskets all decorated perfectly. It didn't turn out at all the way I planed but you know what, I loved it! The day flowed with a spontaneous energy and the kids loved it too. I chose not to make cookies, and not to set the table at all. We had nachos from one communal family plate and had great family bonding time. I did make popcorn balls that tasted so very lovely though, and the services at church today were very enjoyable! They filled me with joy and hope. He is not here, He is risen. Hope you all had a great Easter as well!

Especially one handmade from scratch.

I didn't use a pattern at all, and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Fashion Friday,(or monday) Wardrobe Remix

Happy Monday everyone! In all my excitement for the give away and sketching up a storm I forgot all about Fashion Friday. Well no I didn't, I consciously decided to skip it last week because I had a full day that day. ;) But here I am posting some beautiful fashion inspirations for you today! I was having a lot of fun browsing around Flickr last night in Casey's favorites file. (check out her inspirational blog Elegant Musings!) Thanks Casey for your great picks! I really had fun looking through all of your favorite images! ;) Thats how I found all of these great images from Piksi, a girl who lives in Finland, loves animals and has incredible taste in fashion. She adds her outfits to the wardrobe remix pool (a photo pool of peoples daily outfits) on Flickr. "There is beauty all around"

Happy Sunday everyone. Sundays should always be filled with relaxation and beauty! I have created a collection of inspirational images for you to enjoy. (These are from and old file so I have no clue what sources they're from, sorry.) They inspire me every time I look at them though. I smile, I close my eyes and imagine that I'm twirling around and around, at least the outdoor ones make me feel that way. The interiors make me want to curl up reading a great book, or write a letter, a real one with pretty stationary and an actual stamp. I hope you ENJOY these images!

Fashion Friday: Anticipating Spring

Hooray it finally got warm this week! Warm enough for me to get pretty toasty in the car while driving the kids home from a play date today! Its so nice to have the sun shining again! In anticipation for the real arrival of spring I'm sharing some pretty spring outfits from the Salt Water Spring 2008 collection.
